Twenty Questions In creating a needs analysis in response to your web marketing and data management requirements, we have developed a list of 20 questions that we hope a potential customer of ours would consider in advance of speaking with us. The questions are not meant to pry into areas we don't belong, but in accessing a starting point in developing a strategy, this would be the list of questions we would ask ourselves. We also ask that the answers or responses not be written down -- some questions don't have an answer and are solely for the consideration of each question. Also, if the answer to #4 is "yes," you're excused from the rest of the excercise. 1. Briefly define the primary product/service you provide. 2. How long have you been in business and what is your annual proceeds from sales. 3. Define and describe how much time and money annually is put forth marketing your products/services. 4. Are you satisfied with your rate of growth since inception? 5. If yes, stop this exercise, if no please describe what your expectations were at inception. 6. If these expectations were not met, what is the single cause of the impediment? 7. Can you identify a strategy for removing the growth impediment? 8. If yes, how long would it take to implement? 9. If no, are you willing to create a strategy? 10. In your current operations, what is the cost of goods or hourly charge for your product/service? 11. Do you keep detailed customer records? 12. Can you identify 200 people who have bought your product/services? 13. What are the 3 most positive things you can identify about your marketing effort since inception? 14. Are you satisfied with your relationships with your partners? 15. Are you satisfied with your relationships with your employees? 16. In a perfect world, what is the most fundamental change you would make to your current operations? 17. What is the single most important resource that you would apply to your operations? 18. One year from now, what would you like to see your business doing? 19. What is your strategy for promoting the information in your customer records? 20.
